The 25th International Congress on Modelling and Simulation (MODSIM2023) will be held at the Darwin Convention Centre, Darwin, Northern Territory, from Sunday 9 to Thursday 13 July 2023 with a workshop day on Friday 14 July.
ASOR will be joining us again for the National Conference of the Australian Society for Operations Research. The International Environmental Modelling and Software Society (iEMSs) is supporting two streams and The Open Modeling Foundation is also supporting a stream.
MSSANZ has held biennial congresses since 1974 that typically attract 600–900 participants.
To facilitate more effective collaboration, MODSIM2023 will be an in-person event. Plenaries will be recorded and made available online to watch free of charge.
Submissions have closed. The draft program showing allocation of specific sessions to timeslots will be available in the week starting 29 May.
Accommodation can be difficult to find in Darwin during July, please book early to avoid disappointment. Delegates are responsible for booking their own accommodation. *Hint: many accommodation places offer free cancellation up to within a week beforehand, you can book now to lock it in!
QANTAS has come on board as our exclusive airline partner.
Updates about the congress will be added to this website as they become available.

MSSANZ acknowledges the traditional custodians, the Larrakia people, of the land on which the Darwin Convention Centre stands. We pay our respects to the Elders past and present, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
