Full papers and abstracts for MODSIM2025 will need to be formatted in accordance with the Instructions to authors
Please use the templates provided below.
Please note: you can submit either:
- an abstract (max 2 pages) or
- a full paper (max 7 pages, including an abstract on the first page).
You are not required to submit any form of shortened abstract before you submit your full paper. You submit an abstract by itself, only if you have decided not to submit a full paper.
The abstract should be a complete description of the problem area, broad findings and outcomes or implications and should hence be self contained.
The abstracts/full papers will be reviewed by independent reviewers and may require revision before publication.
Papers and abstracts should be submitted in Word or PDF format (if generated from LaTeX). Word is preferred.
The instructions for authors, a template file and examples are available in Word and LaTeX format.
Note that authors have the option to include their ORCID iD. See the examples in the templates. More information about ORCID is at https://orcid.org/
At MODSIM2025, delegates will have a choice of presentation type – oral or poster. Orals will be 15 minutes plus 4 minutes allowed for questions at the end. Posters will be displayed for the whole week, with a specific poster session to be held one afternoon. Each delegate can specify their preferred presentation type (oral or poster), but the final decision on presentation type (oral or poster) will be made by the organisers based on the quality of the submission and the need to keep the number of oral presentations to a manageable number. It is anticipated that each delegate will receive one oral presentation with additional presentations likely to be given as posters. The maximum number of oral presentations granted will be two per person. Please note you must attend in person to present your oral or poster.
