Extended abstracts and full papers are to be submitted online through a system called Ex Ordo.
Note: If you already have an Ex Ordo account from a previous MODSIM your password will remain the same and you will not need to create a new account.
Before uploading a file, please check you have followed the instructions for authors and used the correct template.
Note you can edit your submission if you need to. Just go to My Submissions and click on any submission in the list to see options to Edit or Withdraw.
If you need help, please send an email to modsim2023@mssanz.org.au
*Note you are not required to submit any form of shortened abstract before you submit your full paper. Your only submission should be the full intended final version in the correct template.
At MODSIM2023, delegates will have a choice of presentation type – oral or poster. Orals will be 15 minutes plus 4 minutes allowed for questions at the end. Posters will be displayed for the whole week, with a specific poster session to be held on Tuesday 11 July. Each delegate can specify their preferred presentation type (oral or poster), but the final decision on presentation type (oral or poster) will be made by the organisers based on the quality of the submission and the need to keep the number of oral presentations to a manageable number. It is anticipated that each delegate will receive one oral presentation with additional presentations likely to be given as posters. The maximum number of oral presentations granted will be two per person. Please do not enter more than two submissions with the same author marked as presenting author.
