Important dates

Registration is now open, login to Ex Ordo to register.

The call for sessions will close on 21 October 2022.

Submissions will open online in November 2022. Instructions for authors will be published before this.

Please note: you can submit either:

  • an extended abstract (max 1 page) or
  • a full paper (max 7 pages, including an extended abstract on the first page).

Full papers will be due by 10 March 2023. Authors will be notified of acceptance/rejection and any revisions required by 21 April 2023.

Revised full papers will be due on 10 May 2023.

If you are submitting an Extended abstract only, it will be due by 5 May 2023.

All full papers and extended abstracts must be finalised by 17 May 2023 to allow for preparation for publication and the program.

At MODSIM2023, delegates will have a choice of presentation type – oral or poster. Each delegate can specify their preferred presentation type (oral or poster), but the final decision on presentation type (oral or poster) will be made by the organisers based on the quality of the submission and the need to keep the number of oral presentations to a manageable number. It is anticipated that each delegate will receive one oral presentation with additional presentations likely to be given as posters. The maximum number of oral presentations granted will be two per person.

It is anticipated that, as in the past, all papers accepted for the proceedings of the MODSIM2023 congress will be indexed in the Web of Science CPCI database. Extended abstracts will not be indexed.
