This session welcomes papers on “Challenges, new concepts and new methods for water resources management”. The areas include new challenges and novel advances in water resources managements to adapt in a changing world, such as conflictions between agricultural and industrial water uses and environmental water requirement, statistical and machine learning based method applications (e.g. in assessment the impact of anthropogenic climate change), developing integrated models for surface-groundwater movement and contaminant transport, innovative approaches to estimate future water demand and water availability.
