×G9. Informatics and machine learning for ecology and agriculture

A vast increase in the volume of data available and the complexity of problems that are being addressed has seen a demand for new informatics and analytic techniques in environmental and agricultural applications. This session calls for papers demonstrating new advances and novel applications of informatics and/or machine learning for the environment and agriculture. Examples of topics might include biosecurity, conservation assessment and planning, disease detection in agricultural systems, invasive species, citizen science and broad scale modelling of animal and plant distributions.

Key topics: Artificial intelligence, Biosecurity, Biodiversity, Ecology
