We seek papers for this session that address operations research methods, platforms to deliver these methods and applications of methods, particularly to complex problems involving observational data. Theoretical and conceptual frameworks are sought as well as models, indicators as well as metrics and both studies and platforms using single methods and multiple methodologies to capture different aspects of the problem as well as to cross validate. The key linking factor is observational data and so papers may range from interpretive frameworks through to statistical methods to balance datasets from different cohorts. Methods, platforms and applications from disciplines dealing with observational data e.g. sociology, psychology, economics, political science, international relations, health services and public health, are particularly welcome.
Key topics: Operations Research, complex problems, statistics, metrics
