This session calls for papers covering advances in neural networks, soft systems machine learning, big data analytics and complex systems modelling and their applications to addressing challenging problems in biology, ecology, environment (land, water, energy etc.) and society (socio-ecological systems). The session covers both theoretical and practical applications of the above methods including deep neural networks, network modelling methods and hybrid methods for complex systems.
