As OR researchers and practitioners we are fortunate that our science and technology can be applied in many domains and many innovative ways. For this session we seek presentations about novel applications and important findings about the world that stem from applying OR to diverse real-world problems and opportunities. The methods used by OR – in dealing with data, in approaching applied problems, and in the algorithms or solvers we use - also improve either as part of work on applications or via directed research into these methods. Submissions on methodological advances and improvements are equally encouraged for this session.
