The Modelling and Simulation Society of Australia and New Zealand Inc. (MSSANZ) aims to promote, develop and assist in the study of all areas of modelling and simulation.

The Society's main activity is organising the MODSIM biennial congresses on Modelling and Simulation (the first in 1974). These congresses are highly regarded and well attended, and attract strong student representation through the award of student prizes and subsidised registration.

  • The Water Quality Specialist Interest Group of MSSANZ is pleased to announce the upcoming 1st Australia and New Zealand Water Quality Modelling Symposium: Turning vision into action, to be held in Queenstown, New Zealand from 8–10 April 2024. The symposium will bring together members of the water quality modelling community to develop action plans to address key vision themes that have been identified in previous forums and workshops.
