The iconic Great Barrier Reef is facing a range of pressures. Monitoring and modelling form an integral part of measuring the success of progress being made towards the Reef Targets. This session will consider all forms of modelling to support understanding, management and policy for the Great Barrier Reef, including but not limited to marine ecosystem modelling, catchment modelling at multiple scales, integrated socio-ecological modelling, and regional climate change projection downscaling.
