L13. Flood frequency, variability and trend analysis
Flood frequency analysis and trend in flood magnitude, duration and frequency are of prime importance for water resources planning and management projects such as design of infrastructure, flood insurance studies, floodplain managements and ecological studies. This session includes methods in selecting flood series data, stationary and non-stationary flood modelling, probability distribution functions, at-site and regional flood frequency analyses, flood variability analysis and trend detection. We encourage submissions relevant to:
