Managing cumulative risks through model-based processes

Submission process and important dates

At MODSIM 2017, delegates will have a choice of presentation type – oral or poster.

Each delegate can specify their preferred presentation type (oral or poster), but the final decision on presentation type (oral or poster) will be made by the organisers based on the quality of the expression of interest and the need to keep the number of oral presentations to a manageable number. It is anticipated that each delegate will receive one oral presentation with additional presentations likely to be given as posters.

Expressions of interest (including title and 250-500 word summary) must be submitted by 31 May 2017; the preferred presentation type must be selected for each expression of interest.

Notification of acceptance of expressions of interest and confirmation of presentation type (oral or poster) will be provided by 16 June 2017.

Full papers and extended abstracts are due 28 July 2017. The author can decide whether to submit a full paper or extended abstract, regardless of presentation type (oral or poster).

Reviewed and corrected full papers and extended abstracts must be finalised by 2 October 2017 to allow for publication to be finalised.

It is anticipated that, as in the past, all papers accepted for the proceedings of the MODSIM2017 conference will be indexed in the Web of Knowledge CPCI database. Extended abstracts will not be indexed.
