K11. Achieving impact through co-designing science with stakeholders

This session aims to highlight projects that foster stakeholder engagement and co-design. It is commonly agreed that stakeholder engagement takes a lot more energy and upfront time to reach common undertaking across all stakeholder and partners. We subjectively report this as time well spent, and people will report a greater uptake and ownership of science results leading to better evidence based decision making. Our challenge is to objectively demonstrate increased science impact beyond our qualitative opinions. All projects that involve co-design, engagement with stakeholders to achieve greater science impacts are encouraged, but we are particularly searching for papers that will stimulate discussions on how we can objectively demonstrate this impact.
