This session will focus on the modelling of bushfire and bushfire-related phenomena. This includes modelling of: fire behaviour and spread, fire weather, bushfire risk modelling and framework development, atypical fire propagation, ember transport, fire-environment interactions, fire ecology and social systems affected by bushfire. Submissions dealing with aspects of catastrophic fires, such as have been experienced in southeastern Australia, the western United States and Europe in the last decade, are particularly encouraged.
